Pioneer Activity
We had a really great primary activity last Saturday. The kids got to dress up and go on a "trek". They began by building their covered wagons... and choosing what things to take (they only had room for 5 things). Things like the dishes had to be left behind and things like cornmeal and blankets were chosen to go. Then they stopped at different stops like Sugar Creek and Chimney rock where they made butter and tried jerky. After arriving at the Salt Lake Valley they had a little parade around the church and ate homemade icecream afterwards. It was so much fun, my only regret.... I forgot my camera!!!

You guys look great - I need to get pioneer clothes for my kiddos -your gang is so cute!
Oh my gosh, you guys are too cute!! Good for you dressing up with them, the activity sounded fun. I have no idea what I would have dressed my kids in if we had been there, little lone myself!
That is such a great idea!
