Parsley anyone?

So, my family recently came for a visit. I thought it would be a good opportunity to do a bit of spring cleaning. one of the things I did was to clean out all of my cupboards. Have you ever gone to find some spices or dried herbs, knowing you have it, but not being able to find it? I do that all the time, and I think, "gosh, I swear I just bought some cinnamon, basil, parsley..." whatever it might be. Then while at the store, I would get some more because I thought I was out. Well, I found that I really did "just buy" all those things. During my cleaning, I found 3 large bottles of parsley, 2 bottles of basil, 2 bottles of curry, 3 things of cinnamon and 2 things of dehydrated onions! It was really quiet eye opening to how disorganized I am! Oh, well.... at least I know I have plenty of those things now!

Sleep Walking

One of the most interesting things to me is the sleep walking phenomena. I used to do it when I was little. I remember hearing some of the funniest stories of me rushing down to my mom telling her she needed to make me lunch because I was going to be late for school, or going into my brother's room and turning the light on and off really fast. Well, I think this strange habit has carried on to my son. Just now, while I was working on my FHE packet (will it get done? Probably at 6:59 next Thursday night) when Brandon came walking downstairs and turned on the tv. At first I thought maybe he thought it was morning time, but when I asked him what he was doing, he said, "I need to get some of that dirt." Then he walked back upstairs and climbed into bed. I followed him and asked him if he was ok, he didn't respond but as I was leaving he said, "Mom, will you get me some of that stuff?" "What stuff?" "That stuff." I said, "Brandon, I don't know what you are talking about." "I just need that stuff!" This continued on for a minute and I stopped talking to see if he would just go back to sleep. He did... immediately. How do you tell if someone is sleepwalking? I think that's what it was, but who can tell for sure? I'm okay with sleepwalking just as long as he doesn't get those night terrors. My brother and sisters had those and they are scary for the person involved and the one who is awake trying to get the other to wake up! But anyways, it'll be funny to have a sleepwalker in the family.

You Are a Chocolate Cake

Fun, comforting, and friendly.

You are a true classic, and while you're not super cutting edge, you're high quality.

People love your company - and have even been known to get addicted to you.

Hmmmm..... this is interesting. Fun too, but not sure if this is really me. Mabe parts of it I guess! I do enjoy a nice chocolate cake though! I am still on the lookout for the "perfect chocolate cake" recipe. If you think you have it.... SEND IT TO ME!

Another Blogging Dimension

It's good to be blogging again! There are a lot of posts I have been thinking about and wanting to do, although I have done enough for one sitting I think. Alison showed me how to make the cute slideshows with the music! It has made blogging even more fun!! You can use it for scrapbooking as well if you want to pay. Anyways I really like it. Keep scrolling down to see those posts!

One good thing about Colorado not removing the snow off the roads, it sure makes an easy, fun sledding adventure with mom and dad pulling kids behind them. P.S. It was the only sledding Lindsay dared to try.
