New Year's Resolution

One of my new year's resolutions is to scrapbook more. I haven't done much scrapbooking at all for the past LONG time and I feel it's important because it's our family's history. Anyways, here's the page I did today.

Logan's #3 birthday!!!!

November 21st Logie turned 3 years old! It was a really fun day, one that he had been waiting for for a long long time. Before we did anything, Logan absolutely insisted on opening his presents! He had been waiting for a week for this moment and to make him wait longer seemed too cruel!

I feel like we are moving past the car obsession into some new obsessions. In a way it makes me happy to not have to line all his cars up anymore or watch the movie at least once a day and play the game at least once a day, but in another way it makes me sad. They were such a HUGE part of him for so long and now it's sad to see him grow out of it! He does still enjoy them, but his new thing is puzzles and legos! He LOVES putting puzzles together and is really good at the ones he has. He LOVES LOVES LOVES legos. He has played with his legos every day since he got them and when he got some new ones for Christmas those just got added to what he got for his birthday. Logan'll just play and play for hours by himself. I have to be careful not to forget about him.

A favorite tradition we have made in our house is you don't only get to blow the candles out on your cake, but you get to have them in your pancakes, grilled cheese sandwiches and hot dogs (Logan's birthday menu). The kids love it and we like it too! Although by the end of the day when I was saying "Happy Birthday Logan" he said, "Mom! Don't say that anymore!" I think he got a little sick of me saying that.

The cake I made Logan was HUGE and so we invited some friends over to help us eat it. Logan was thrilled to have some friends come over for his "birthday party"

Logan is such a good boy. He has one of the most tender hearts I have every seen. He loves his family so much! He is a child who you want to make happy because it makes him so happy. He kept saying, "these are the best legos ever!" Or "These are my favorite puzzles ever!" Everything that day was his favorite something ever!! I bought him a pair of shoes and they were the coolest shoes ever for a long long time.

An interview with Logan:

What's your favorite toy? legos and cars
What's your favorite thing to do? ummmmm... play

ie iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisssssssssss.......... uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... let me look (he runs to the movie drawer) My favorite movie is this one and this one and this one and this one and this one and this one and this one (pointing to all the movies we own).

We feel so blessed to have Logan in our family. He is a great little guy who reminds us all the time to be happy and thankful for the thoughtful things others do for us!

A Gerber Baby

So yesterday when I was making Sophie's cereal (Gerber Life as Lindsay insists on calling it!) I noticed a picture on the back of the box that shocked me!

I showed everyone and we all thought this cute little baby looked just like our cute little baby! So funny!

**** November and December post coming soon (I hope!)
